Behind The Scenes // thegreyareafilm // In response to all of the supportive reach outs I received in reaction to our post about the bullying scene, I feel that it is important for me to note that my life has drastically changed from what it was then, to what it is now. Although the intense sadness during this time period was very real and it was the deepest loneliness that I have ever known, I now have a life that is filled with more love and support than I ever imagined possible for me. Going back in time to recreate these scenes was in fact quite emotionally difficult. However, the hundreds of people who came together to make the film possible combined with the family and friends in my life who have sent me many forms of support through this process have consistently been a reminder to me that feeling that alone in the world is over for me.
