A closer view of my photos selected for the Good Sports Exhibit at Photoworks at Glen Echo Park. I love the way they turned out, but seeing them printed on the wall with gallery lighting was something special. Then to be able to talk to people about my photos and the circumstances around each picture was truly surreal. It is always scary to share your work with the world as it is a little piece of you but I am working to put my self out there more and more. I’ve come to relish the judgement/feedback as an opportunity for me to improve my work even if it’s the slightest imperfection. Photography is a lifelong, ever evolving journey.
