Defying the odds became a theme for Glencoe as they battled their way through the OSAA 6A State Softball Championship playoffs. As the 21st seed, they knocked off the 12th, 5th, 4th and 1st seeds to face 2nd seed Sheldon in the championship game at Jane Sanders Stadium at the University of Oregon. The polish wore off in the final game as Sheldon's dominant pitching held the Tide scoreless. Losing in the championship game always stings, however Glencoe's second place trophy will shine bright representing the Tide's outstanding accomplishment in 2024.
