We walk in cemeteries a lot. There's something serene about being in such a quiet, beautiful place with the ability to ponder whatever is on your mind without the possibility of being disturbed. Some may find that to be morbid, but I enjoy walking through, looking at the beautiful gravestones and learning about the people who lived here hundreds of years ago. Back in Victorian times, people would pack picnics and come to Bonaventure Cemetery to spend time with deceased relatives. There were no tourists, no talk of "The Book" (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, for those of you not in the know), nothing like that.
