Also spotlighted as a the member of the #NHLCA Female Coaches Program is Assistant Coach Jessica Conlon of NGHL Member team arizonakachinas .   Coach Jess Conlon grew up in Anchorage, Alaska playing hockey on the ponds. She moved when she was 11 to Scottsdale, where she played for the Arizona Selects. Jess has played at various rinks and organizations around the valley, including the Arizona Runners in Peoria, AHSHA Division II at the Ice Den, and Arizona Premier at Arcadia. Jess attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and played ACHA Division II for the Bulldogs, where she took on the role of Assistant Captain and Volunteer Coordinator of the team. Jess and the Bulldogs won the ACHA DII National Champions in 2016. She graduated from UMD in 2019. Jess developed her passion for coaching while in college, where she worked with local Duluth teams to develop their preseason skills.
