The Irish Swim and Dive Team started the season off on the right foot winning 169-165 over divisional opponent Wilson Central. This win comes in part thanks to all around great performances by Swimmers of the Meet Walker Campbell for the men, and Kathryn Chandra for the women. Walker swam the 500 freestyle for the first time and got a Region Cut and Kathryn swam the 100 freestyle in a personal record. Kathryn also anchored the Ladies 400 Freestyle Relay helping the Irish win by a slim margin of 4 points. Many other Irish as always, swam off events and scored KEY points for placing in numerous different individual events and relays. This is a very promising beginning to the new season! Our next meet will be against rival, Riverdale, on November 30. #IrishSwimDive
