Let me tell you what you can expect when you fly with Hawaiian Airlines, both from and to Hawaii. For some context, we flew from LAX to Oahu, Hawaii and back. A flight round trip was $347 per person. This might be a no brainer, but food at the airport is expensive, always. It’s a 5 hour flight, so either eat beforehand or bring your own meal. They do provide a “meal”, but it’s mid. Both flights to and from Hawaii, they kept serving us these mega cheese bagel rolls with not much meat in them. A lot of cheese, so bring lactaid. And, they gave plenty of cookies. At one point, I ate 3-4 different cookies on a flight. We did buy a snack box, which was $8 and it was not worth it. We were on vacation mode, so we didn’t care at the time.
