To be honest, I went to Patagonia for the hiking and climbing but our day kayaking ended up being one of my favorite days of the whole trip! Lago del Desierto has incredible views of some surrounding hanging glaciers AND on a clear day, an incredible view of Fitz Roy. Not only that but the water is a vibrant blue color which made the scenery even that much more magical.
