As much as I LOVE winter, taking a little break to soak up some late summer in Argentina was just what I needed. Just like summer back home in Colorado, hiking and adventuring in Patagonia requires all the layers. It can go from super hot to cold and windy in an instant.
Back home my winter base layers are almost exclusively from karitraa but this trip was my first chance to test out their summer hiking layers and I could not have been more impressed. I don’t often hike in leggings because I find that most are constantly falling down as I move but the karitraa Julie High Waist tights were not only super comfortable and flattering but they actually stayed up around my waist for any adventure I took them on. The Voss Light Tee dried super quickly after a sweaty uphill and the natural antimicrobial quality of the merino wool held up stink-free after two weeks without access to laundry.
Supposedly it’s been snowing a lot back home since I’ve been away so I’m looking forward to some fun...
