PCT 2022 HERE I COME!! It’s official - I submitted my app this morning for a mid-April start date to thru hike the Pacific Crest Trail! As many of you know I was all set to head out on a PCT thru hike in 2020. I had the permit, the gear, the time off work… and then… well you all know what happened. So logically I thought 2021, no problem - just push it forward a year… And then I woke up in the middle of the night on an early January morning this year with incapacitating vertigo and when the time came to get my 2021 permit I knew my health just wasn’t stable enough to commit to a hike like that.
