I love cruising the terrain park on my snowboard and pulling a few strands of hair out of my hat so people know that I am a girl. I love picking out technical gear and styling streetwear outfits with cool hats and boots. I am PROUD to be a woman in the outdoor space. I say all this and yet the truth is I feel like no matter how qualified I am or how hard I ride, bike, climb I feel like just by being a woman in so many of these male-dominated spaces I have to try so hard to be taken seriously.
