Most of you know that I was supposed to be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail this summer. It’s kind of crazy to me that on a summer where I was supposed to spend nearly 5 months living out of my backpack, that it’s taken me this long to bust it out for the first time. I think part of it was the fact that it reminded me of a dream I had to put on pause but I think the other part was just that I’ve opted to do all the other activities that I wouldn’t have been able to do while I was hiking all summer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Either way, I am excited to be back in backpacking mode and am super excited for the adventures to come like my Tahoe Rim Trail thru-hike attempt starting in just a few days.
