Happy #CaliforniaSurfingDay !! Last year, the California Legislature officially recognized surfing as California’s state sport, and September 20 as California Surfing Day to celebrate the history and culture of surfing in California. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last month I had the privilege of experiencing the California surf scene first hand by taking a surfing road trip from San Diego up to LA. It’s crazy to me that the section I visited is only a small section of the 840 miles of coastline that California is home to! On my trip I could totally feel that surfing is not just a past time but a way of life embed into the culture.
