I’m a hunter, and every time I’ve been in charge of systems, ops, and reporting…things fall apart pretty quickly. My favorite day of every business I’ve had—is the day that I sold it and got to move on to the next adventure. A farmer in charge of the hunt feels like they are in constant free fall without any stability. A hunter in charge of the farm feels like they are in prison irrespective of the amount of autonomy you give them.
