‼️ BILINGUAL INDIVIDUALS’ HELP NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY ART PROJECT ‼️ “Love Letta to De Worl’” is a celebrated poem written by author and Affrilachian Poets founder Frank X Walker. The phrase “unlearn fear and hate” has become a key theme in artwork and educational initiatives that have taken place across Lexington. Transylvania University’s professors and artistic collaborators, Kurt Gohde and Kremena Todorova, have been prominent forces behind these initiatives. Now, they need YOUR help! One of the major art projects for the “Unlearn Fear + Hate” initiative is cross stitching the phrase (as seen above). It is their goal to translate the phrase into all of the languages spoken in the Lexington Area.
