Replying to @Bebe Here are some of the best beaches in Oahu, Hawaii. 1. Some of the best beaches are on the North and East side of the island. Waimea Bay Beach, Haleiwa Alii Beach in north Shore, and Lanikai Beach, Kailua Beach on the East side. Soft sand and clear waters 2. Hanauma Bay in Waikiki and Shark’s Cove in North Shore are great places for snorkeling. Reservations are required for Hanauma Bay, but not for Shark’s Cove. Reef-safe sunscreen are available at the ABC Store. My fav is Hawaiian Tropic’s Matte Effect. And, water shoes are great to protect your feet against sharp or slippery rocks. 3. Some of the worse beaches I’ve seen are at Waikiki. Big, rough rocks and green water. And, don’t bother going to the Hilton Lagoon.
