Go Starliner ✨ Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft launched aboard a ULALaunch Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on June 5, 2024, in Florida. This was the first crewed launch of the Boeing CFT-100 spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). The test flight serves as an end-to-end demonstration of Boeing’s crew transportation system and successfully docked with the ISS today at 1:34 p.m. EDT (1734 UTC), delivering NASAAstronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to the orbiting laboratory. The commander of the mission and a veteran of two spaceflights, Wilmore has spent 178 days in space. In 2009, he served as a pilot aboard space shuttle Atlantis for STS-129. He served as a flight engineer for Expedition 41 until November 2014, when he assumed command of the station upon arrival of the Expedition 42 crew. He returned to Earth the following March.
