Vanderbilt released findings of an investigation into the arrest of journalist Eli Motycka on June 5. The report concluded that Motycka’s arrest occurred irrespective of his stand as a journalist and recommended Vanderbilt to formalize its media access policy.
The Hustler also sat down with Chancellor Daniel Diermeier on June 4 to discuss the conclusions of the report. Diermeier emphasized his commitment to free speech and transparent media policies in the future.
