Almost a year ago, ari_fararooy reached out to me on IG and asked if I would be interested in directing a festival recap for okeechobeefest. Instead of doing a standard one-minute slow mo shit show (sorry mom), I want to tell a story, focusing on the attendee’s experience in relation to the festival as a whole. matthewhalla and I worked through the visual themes in LA and shot the show in Florida in March, capturing the energy of the environment, human interaction, celebration, and of course, music!
