Scout's story 💙✨ After being told to put their first dog down after he suddenly became paralyzed, Scout's mom was determined change the mentality around disabled dogs by showing the world that they are not worthless and deserve a chance at a happy life. "I saw 'BoyScout' featured on Walkin Pets #foreverhomefriday. He was a stray or possibly living with a homeless community when a good Samaritan saw him, and thinking he was injured, picked him up and dropped him at the local shelter. A Purposeful Rescue pulled him from the shelter, set him up in a foster home, and got him medical attention. His X-Rays and MRI did not show any injury or IVDD or disc issues. He simply has 'a malformation of the spine'. He is not in any pain and I suspect he was born that way. He was located in L.A. and was marked for local adoption only – but they were willing to consider us because of our experience.
