“I am the mother of a Lone Soldier and I came here with Operation Hug. I had an opportunity to give him a hug yesterday morning and that meant the world to me. I can breathe now. I’m the mother of a Lone Soldier. I got to meet him where he was down south for an hour, a couple of days ago. And just that first time… it just meant everything to me.”  Operation Hug has successfully arranged for hundreds of round-trip flights for parents of single combat IDF soldiers serving in active (Sadir) duty during the ongoing conflict.
