An unforgettable two days to open TST. Stars, unsung heroes, and rising talents graced North Carolina with stellar play worthy of the million dollar pool prize. Kids cheered in disbelief and adults flashed back to that childlike wonder state — the one that made us all fall in love with the sport. It’s been a true festival of soccer so far, and now the real fun begins. The knockouts promise to bring even greater entertainment, and the start of the women’s bracket will be the cherry on top to an already great tournament. Heather O’Reilly and the US Women’s Team were spotted training at Dorrance Field in Chapel Hill, and they’ll take the field later today to kick off their TST journey.
