Meet rasa.humeyumptewa, a member of the Hopi tribe (Sun clan), a senior in the Clinical and Counseling csu_psychology Program coloradostateuniversity, and an active member in nacc.csu.
Rasa hopes to one day get a Psy.D. degree to “further the research on the effects of intergenerational trauma on Native populations or the impacts of culturally sensitive therapy,” she said.
Humeyumptewa is involved with the Women’s Circle and has been a peer mentor through NACC. She loves connecting with other Native student and other Indigenous women at CSU.
