5/6 ✅ 2:35:14 We did it. We hosted our own marathon…and it ROCKED. We got a stunner PNW day with the most ideal conditions of the journey thus far. But dang - I woke up tired for this one, which made me extra nervous. But thankfully, my chill, calm Nike team helped me shake the butterflies by going above and beyond expectations to make today a special one. They measured and marked the course with 5ks, brought portable camp potties, a fire pit, tons of coffee and die hard enthusiasm for running. I am so thankful for the island giving me an incredible Fall day with perfect temps and no rain. Even more, I am so grateful for my two running partners in crime, Cooper Roach (who crushed it for 22miles!!) and long time friend Courtney Frerichs (who took me through the hardest miles of 15-26.2). Coming through the finish line to find my family and friends, once again there to cheer me on is something I will never take for granted. They make all of the stomach aches, belly jitters, arm sleeve...
