Bringing Jack on this journey has taken this Project Eclipse experience to an entirely new level for me. Everything I see and feel is profoundly more meaningful because he is by my side and at the finish line. The sky is bluer, the pastries sweeter, and the joy I find in each mile is significantly more abundant. Kid, you give me the energy to try and make the most of my days and this one precious life. You give my heart so much happiness that it clouds my mind from remembering any days that came before you. You are my everything. You are a life enhancer. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it to share adventures and your work with your kids. I want him influenced by the incredible people that I get to surround myself with. I want him to have the chance to get a cold in Berlin, to throw his Bunny in St. James Park, and to giggle and smile at 10,000 feet.
