We lost a treasured man today. Coach Dennis Craddock, also affectionately known by his athletes as “Cradaddy”. He was a father to us all. I’ve never felt a stronger sense of love for community, faith and family than when I ran for the University of North Carolina, under Coach Craddock. His message to his Carolina kids was first and foremost, be a great person and leader in your community. Be a part of something bigger than yourself and you will reach your goals. When faced with athletic and life challenges these last 19years, my husband, Steve Edwards and I would call Coach. Coach always gave the best advice and Coach always gave the biggest hugs that enveloped your whole body. I’m sending a Cradaddy size hug to my Carolina family and to his wife-best friend Faye, the biggest and warmest hug of all. Thank you Faye for sharing Coach with us. 💙 #tarheelfamily 📷: my mom
