The BMO Center has organized an ASM Rockford Coat Drive that will run Tuesday, November 15 – Thursday, December 15. Please join us by donating your new or gently used winter items! Collection bins will be placed in the BMO and CPAC box offices. Coats, gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, snow boots and snow pants will be accepted. Donated items will benefit The Salvation Army of Winnebago County (salvationarmyus ) and their 25th Annual Koats4Kids event. This year, the donated items will go toward local school districts in providing outerwear to keep kids warm and this winter and to promote outdoor play. Research shows a proven link between outdoor activities and healthy brain development. Outdoor play also benefits kids mentally, emotionally, and physically. This event goes hand-in-hand with ASM Global’s (asmgloballive) inaugural Global Month of Giving.
