When it came to designing my client’s beach house in Avalon, NJ, I wanted it to feel coastal without being cliché. In the hallway and powder bath on the main floor, a pair of my client’s Ellsworth Kelly prints and graciestudio’s Japanese-inspired wave wallpaper highlight the classic architecture while keeping any seaside stereotypes at bay.
