Every year during this week between Christmas and the New Year, I set aside some time to reflect on the previous year and to set intentions (not goals)for the year ahead. Today, I am working on setting personal, professional, health, and spiritual intentions for myself and I’m already feeling energized and inspired! I also like to set a word for myself each year. The word for 2023 is JOY. I am a goal-driven person with a lot of irons in the fire. I have found that I don’t take the time to truly celebrate victories and joyful moments because I’m too busy rushing to the next thing. I want this to be the year that I really take the time to feel and experience the beautiful moments in life. Being a mother has taught me that even the simplest things can bring joy and that every moment is fleeting. There are lots of exciting things ahead for us in 2023 and I plan to savor those moments and feel joy. On the flip side, I’m committing to saying no to things that don’t spark joy on some level. W...
