We finally found a house! It’s been a long road, but we finally found what felt like a needle in a haystack thanks to our amazing realtor carolinebean.compass. Of course, I’ve already started envisioning the design of the new house. Margot is now 15 months old and loves pointing out the birds, butterflies, and flowers in the iksel_decorative_arts wallpaper in her nursery. While we won’t be moving until early next year (the sellers are doing a leaseback), I’m worried about uprooting Margot even though I know it will be amazing for her. She’s old enough to be aware of her surroundings, but not old enough to truly understand what’s going on. Would it be best to use the same wallpaper in her new bedroom so that she feels a sense of continuity and familiarity? Would a similar, but different chinoiserie wallpaper suffice?
