We spent a few days this week in Cabo for a quick bit of R&R. After a very busy spring and summer finishing and photographing projects for my next book, I treated myself and fabianxcontreras to a a quick, relaxing getaway to one of our favorite places in celebration of turning in my manuscript and photography to my publisher. We had originally planned to go to Jamaica, but strong tropical storm activity in the Caribbean prompted us to change our plans at the last minute which is why we stayed montageloscabos this time instead of our usual favorite lasventanasalparaiso. Both properties are beautiful, luxurious, and have excellent food and warm, attentive service. The main difference is that the beach at the Montage is swimmable as the waters are calm for Cabo. Also, pro tip, traveling right before a holiday weekend is the way to go. The resort was quiet and we basically had a pool to ourselves each day.
