So many emotions. Still feels surreal. Having started learning pairs only since June of last year, about 7 months ago, we have already come to this point. Time flew. Liv and I were both brand new to pairs, both brand new as a team. In some ways, like being thrown into the deep end of a pool for the first time. Yet in many other ways, like a blank canvas, ready for its first sketch—one out of many. It’s been a ride of emotions from the beginning up to this point. Having only competed 3 times—Nationals being the 3rd competition ever for us—I can say that I am beyond proud of both Liv and I for coming so far along in such a short amount of time. While there were many highs and lows along this bumpy road, this Nationals was definitely a culmination of all of our emotions, hard work, and progress over these several months.
