Johnson County is welcoming new brunch spots to Leawood and Prairie Village. HomeGrown, a daytime eatery first founded in Wichita, expanded to Leawood this month. The restaurant’s made-from-scratch menu includes its popular coffee cake with a warm buttermilk caramel sauce, croissant French toast, baked oatmeal with fresh berries and pecans, and house-made Pop-Tarts-style pastries.
