The current 2020 chemistwarehouseaus Australian Opals squad will participate in a week-long training camp on the Gold Coast in early January 2021. With the recent easing of internal border restrictions and changes to enforced quarantine periods within Australia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Basketball Australia has been able to arrange this training camp at short notice.   Also, with Opals head coach brondellosandy currently in North Queensland observing the 2020 WNBL season, this 7-day camp which is set to run 3 – 10 January inclusive, provides the perfect opportunity for coaching staff and players alike to have invaluable face time ahead of a busy 2021, which includes the Olympic Games and 2021 fiba Women’s Asia Cup.   Read the full announcement at the Basketball Australia website. #MakeWay #WeAreBasketball
