There are going to be moments of joy – a lot of them – when you first teach a kid how to ski! Then there are going to be those times when you simply have to dish out candy like a #pezdispenser. Z rarely gets sweets, but desperate times on the slopes call for desperate measures. Fortunately for her (and certainly for me), I remembered to pack some #skittles for trying times today. Don’t get me wrong, Z definitely gets “special treats” for ripping it down the slopes too. She knows she has me wrapped around her little finger when she whispers in her gentle, high-pitched voice, “daddy, can I please have a speeeeeeecial treat?” I mean how can a dad say no to that?!?!
