Hi everyone, nomadcolorado here for our #granbyranch takeover! It’s a dad and daughter date day on the slopes. (Mom is stuck at home preparing for a Supreme Court argument – I guess that takes precedent!) We’re season pass holders and have found that granbyranch is the perfect place to teach Z, our 3 year old, how to ski. Granby Ranch recently made our 7 Best Colorado Ski Resorts for Beginners article (you can find it at nomadcolorado.com). While we didn’t rank the seven resorts, Granby Ranch is definitely our favorite. The Milestone and Quickdraw Express Lifts have been the perfect combination for Z, while the Conquest Lift affords Liz and I opportunities to hit the steeps. Over the course of this year, Z has gone from barely being able to stand on skis to mostly skiing on her own. You can frequently hear her hollering, “Woo-hoooo!” as she’s bombing down the slopes.
