Hahnemühle Student Photo Competition – The Winners 3rd place – ‘of suddenly growing up’ by tamara_eckhardt_ Series Description: “For my series »Vom plötzlichen Erwachsenwerden« (engl: of suddenly growing up) I photographed young mothers (from ages 16 to 21 years old) in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, a socially disadvantaged district of Berlin, a so called problem-district, known for high crime and poverty rates and the uniformly built panel-buildings. In my series I portrait young mothers, moments of calmness and still lives found in their individual apartments.
