Palma Senior, Moises Benito, won the final PCAL Gabilan Division cross-country race - his third in a row - with a win at Toro Park in Salinas. Benito’s time was 16:27 over the 3-mile course. Leo Santana placed 18th in 18:10, and Tatum Sanders ran the same time for 19th place. Sammy Bastida rounded out the varsity team with a time of 23:20 for 37th place. The junior varsity team was led by Jesus Flores who ran a personal best 20:03, for a season-high 13th place. Will Ward ran a personal best time of 28:12 for 49th place.
