This week at the San Benito meet, Palma's Moises won the race, but San Benito took the team honors by beating the Chieftains 25-36. Moises ran with the Haybaler's top runner for two miles before blistering a 5:18 final mile to win in 16:48 over the 3-mile course. Freshman, Leo, stepped up his game to place 4th overall in 18:15. Seniors Jayson (7th in 18:43), Julian (11th in 20:31), and Matt (13th in 20:33) rounded out the scoring Chieftains.
