The junior high science students have been learning about kinetic and potential energy. In lab, the students made their own catapults out of popsicle sticks and pencils to demonstrate how energy can be converted from one type to another and transferred from one object to another. Using what they have learned, they were able to tie classwork into real life. We had a record distance of 15ft!
