Mia Mirassou told them about Palma’s Exercises in Empathy Literacy Program inside Soledad Prison. Having a huge heart for men making amends, they agreed to sponsor Palma by donating hundreds of Steinbeck’s novels for students and inmates to read. In this photo the owners are holding up some inmate art and a thank you poster from Palma that Mia brought to them.
