every time i post something like this, both men and women comment things like ‘dating sucks because men are xyz’ and ‘it’s awful because women only care about abc’. while some individuals may indeed behave poorly or only care about superficial things, the reality is that most people want to find connection, support, and love from someone they feel seen and understood by.
