I’ve always been a big boy, but at the top of January, I was at my heaviest. I weighed 252 pounds and was at 25% body fat. Though my annual blood work came back pretty good, I felt like I let myself go. So instead of sulking, I changed up some things before hitting 35 like tracking my calories, weighing my food, getting my steps in (10-12k daily), no alcohol and of course hitting the gym 4 days a week.
Though I didn’t quite hit my goal of reaching my college weight of 200 lbs by my 35th birthday (June 15), I am down 44 pounds, putting me at 208 lbs and 19% body fat. This is the lowest I’ve been since 2011-2012.
The goal is to ultimately reach 175-180 lbs and 15% body fat (Hoping by September / October 🤞🏽🙏🏽) For the most part, though I lost some strength in the process, this is the best I’ve felt in a long time. And though the job isn’t finished, I’m proud of the steps that I took to get here. More to come. 💪🏽
