It was a bittersweet ending to my collegiate track and field career.
Spraining my ankle minutes before the start of the first event, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to finish the hurdle race yet alone all 7 events.
My entire career has come down to just a few short moments where it seems that everything is on the line, but nothing ever comes down to one moment. The countless hours of hard work to get to this point do not just disappear. These last 4 years have been the best of my life. I’ve learned to put my head down and work towards my goals day in and out.
This is what it’s all about. Putting it all out there whether you come out victorious or fall short.
Life goes on, new goals arise, and journeys begin. Im proud to have finished. I’m proud to have made it this far.
