Palestine Update: Day 8 — and my final update as I head home this evening. During our time we just got a glimpse of what it means to have your life and movement controlled with systematic cruelty. But Palestinians, every day endure violent, cruel, and legal control over their movement, sense of security, and free expression. As I head home and prepare to ease back into life, what's next? Sure, I could feel good about my advocacy, def more than many, far less than others. I could also hide behind the veil of "it's complicated" and remain silent. Or worse, keep doing the political, ethical, and spiritual gymnastics in my soul that some justified the 10 of thousands of humans killed, culture and history being bombed away, and millions more at the risk of famine, disease, and death.
