We got home today in the middle of the rain and wind storm and not 10 minutes later the power went out. We then heard a crack and a limb from a tree in our back neighbor's yard came down (first few pictures). Farewell sweet pergola, we barely knew thee. A few minutes later we heard another crack and the rest of the tree came down. We only lost my bird feeders, some patio lights, and maybe a few small trees. So very grateful that the branches did not reach the house. There is still one more tree that we are keeping a close eye on as we hang out at the far end of the house. Despite the damage, we are safe and dry — unlike too many in the world. #SanJose #StormDamage #Windy #WindStorm
