Today I joined thousands of others in Oakland at the #ReclaimMLK action organized by @antipoliceterrorproject. While the messages are always powerful, I find the true power of these actions found in the exhibition of the Beloved Community that MLK yearned for us all to know. The mutual aid, the joyous community, and life-giving act of common cause is beyond words. This year I joined the with @im4humanintegrity and @interfaith4ceasefire to make sure that faith voices were present during this particular ceasefire focused action.
