Okay runner friends calm down. Yes I just ran/jogged/walked my first 5K EVER, but in no way am I becoming a runner. A friend here in Australia introduced me to @parkrunau so I thought I would give it a go. And while doing this the day after an #OrangeTheory workout was not the smartest thing to do, it was pretty cool: the people, the vibe, and the setting — not the running. Like I said, calm down :-) I did actually run about 2/3 of the way, so I feel pretty good about that. There were all shapes, sizes, and speed which was cool. Humbling was the group of high school runners who easily ran it twice during my one time around.
