#WeeklyWord — colorblind
These past few weeks have been rough. So much going on in the world; I've been sick, my parents were visiting, and I am serving a church during Holy Week. I am pretty sure that this weekend my body was on the verge of rebellion. Knowing what was coming, I took some time to rest, step away, and cave into one of my passion projects, design.
I have posted a version of "colorblind" before, but this week I added some words, played with some design, and basically spent hours just fiddling around with fonts, colors, and looks. Some day these may end up on my Etsy store, but for now, I'm just enjoying the vibe and the craft.
I can't remember when I even wrote this, but it was born from my relationship with my wife, who is white and gets it. Grateful am I for her and people like her in the world for whom the complexity of humanity is assumed, embraced, and affirmed.
