WEEKLY BRIDGE PASTOR NOTES from @breyeschow 03.24.23 Dear Church — Last night I hung out a bit near the church and posted this observation (Image with “Pretty sure I’m twice as old as most everyone at @MantraCoffee right now”) in my Instagram Story while doing some work at Mantra Coffeehouse on San Gabriel. As I sat there, surrounded by young adults from various ethnic backgrounds, life stages, and experiences, it became even more real to me the importance of building up the life of FCUPC. As FCUPC turns its face towards a future of being multicultural, reconnecting to the community, and sharing a place where people can experience a safe place of belonging where they may grow in their Christian faith, taking time to see who is around is essential. Knowing who makes up the community will help to determine the best ways to reconnect with shared interests and passions.
